PAWS of CNY Teaches Students About Pets And Wellness
On Friday June 6 Jessica Marabella from PAWS of CNY attended the Cherry Road School student wellness day. The fourth grade students at Cherry Road spent the afternoon learning about a variety of wellness-related topics, from the dangers of smoking to bike safety. PAWS of CNY attended to present on the topic of pets as stress-reducers.

PAWS of CNY Supports Local Adoption Event
On Saturday May 17, PAWS of CNY volunteer teams attended the “Get Pet-Riotic” event, a community outreach and information event co-sponsored by Recycle-a-Bull Bully Breed Rescue and Wanderer’s Rest Humane Association. The event promoted the adoption of dogs and cats looking for loving homes. PAWS of CNY was pleased to support the event and share information with the community about our Pet Assisted Wellness Services.

PAWS of CNY Attends PAWS for Stress Event at Syracuse University
Over the past several semesters, the volunteer dogs at PAWS of CNY have formed a bond with the students at Syracuse University. During the annual “PAWS for Stress” event, one of four various de-stress events that PAWS of CNY has attended during the school year, the volunteer teams enjoyed a relaxing afternoon while helping students take a much-needed break from the pressures of the end of the semester.
