PAWS of CNY was pleased to be invited to attend the Syracuse University Office of Disability’s de-stress event on April 7. PAWS of CNY’s therapy dogs have been influential this spring in offering students and faculty an opportunity to de-stress as the stress of the school year reaches its pinnacle during final exam season. Susan and John Stepien and their Bernese mountain dog Stella attended the event to help bring smiles to the office.

PAWS of CNY was honored to receive a request from Camden Girl Scout Troop 20132 to assist the young girls in earning their animal helper badge. On Thursday April 23, PAWS of CNY volunteer Lindsey Lehmann and her beagle Ellie Grace met with the troop to teach them what it takes to be a therapy dog.

On April 16, PAWS of CNY was pleased to attend Syracuse University’s student de-stress event. The annual event encourages students to take a break from the rigors of studying for finals and enjoy some wellness-themed activities. The PAWS for Stress event allows students to spend some quality relaxation time with a certified PAWS of CNY therapy dog.
