The students at the Whitman School have worked hard all semester. They’ve been studying, taking tests, writing papers, and learning complex theories and concepts. As they work toward the end of the semester and for many, graduation, they all deserve to take a much needed break. To help them de-stress, volunteers from PAWS of CNY were on site with certified therapy dogs to help them rest, relax, smile, and breathe.
Therapy Dogs Attend Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield Wellness Fair
PAWS of CNY had the opportunity to attend the Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield Employee Wellness Day on Thursday, April 27. The event served as an opportunity for employees to learn more about many of the local wellness organizations and services available in Central New York.
Morrisville College Students Enjoy Pet Therapy
PAWS of CNY volunteers had the opportunity to provide pet-assisted wellness services to students at Morrisville State College. As students prepared mentally and physically for the strain and stress of finals week, PAWS of CNY’s therapy dogs stepped in to help calm, cheer, and refresh.
Syracuse University Students Destress Before Finals with Therapy Dogs
It was a rainy day in Syracuse, but there was warmth, love, laughter, and smiles inside Watson Hall at Syracuse University on Wednesday, April 19. PAWS of CNY therapy dogs were on-site to help encourage students to rest, relax, and destress as they prepared for the upcoming finals weeks.
