In 2025 the PAWS of CNY Hospital Program's 17 volunteer teams logged, collectively, over 250 hours at partnering hospitals and medical sites including cancer treatment centers. These PAWS teams have brightened the days of children, teens and adults, in addition to family members and staff, at hospital settings from Oswego to Syracuse and beyond! Before qualifying to make hospital visits, each volunteer team logs at least 40 hours of other therapy visits, and those teams visiting Golisano Children's Hospital have 20 hours of those logged therapy visits at child-related activities such as after-school programs or library reading programs. If your hospital or medical facility would like to include pet therapy, visit www.pawsofcny.org for more information or to submit a request! #CancerSurvivorDay #PetTherapy #HealingWithPets
