On Saturday, September 23 the 2017 Teal Ribbon Run to End Ovarian Cancer was held in the Village of Minoa’s Lewis Park. Hundreds of runners came out to show their support for our battle against this deadly disease that has taken the lives of too many women in our community. To show their support for survivors and supporters, volunteers from PAWS of CNY were in attendance providing pet therapy services.
PAWS of CNY volunteers at the event included Ken Barber and his German Shepherd Shanah, Susan Curran and her Hound Mix Rosie, Sue Fritzen and her Pit Bull Mix Olive, Christine Michel and her Golden Retriever Scrappy, Ronna Richardson and her Golden Retriever Cody, Joanne Shibley and her Pug Quincey, and John and Sue Stepien and their Bernese Mountain Dog Stella.
