PAWS of CNY volunteers had the opportunity to provide pet-assisted wellness services to students at Morrisville State College. As students prepared mentally and physically for the strain and stress of finals week, PAWS of CNY’s therapy dogs stepped in to help calm, cheer, and refresh.
The event, which took place at the Morrisville State College Library, was attended by over 50 students. PAWS of CNY volunteer teams in attendance included Lisa Baker and her Jack Russell Mix Lola, Ronna Richardson and her Golden Retriever Cody, and Jessica Marabella and her Boston Terrier Aberdeen.
All of the students were appreciative of the opportunity to spend some quality time with PAWS of CNY’s certified therapy dogs. Students shared laughs, stories of their pets at home, and most importantly, enjoyed some must needed rest and relaxation.
