On Tuesday, February 7, students at Syracuse University’s Lawrinson residence hall received a much-needed visit from PAWS of CNY’s therapy dogs. Visiting university and college students during mid-terms and finals has become one of PAWS of CNY’s therapy dogs’ favorite activities. The students are always incredibly enthusiastic and appreciative of time spent with PAWS of CNY’s certified therapy dogs.
Peggy Byrne and her Golden Retriever Ellie, Susan Stepien and her Bernese Mountain Dog Stella, and Karin Laskowski and her Golden Retriever Piper all spent time with the students, cheering them up, making them smile, and giving them some temporary reprieve from the stress of finals week.
