On August 14, PAWS of CNY volunteers attended the Central New York Volkswagen (VW) Show at Oneida Shores Park in Brewerton. The annual event provides an opportunity for VW aficionados across CNY to gather together to celebrate the accomplishments of the iconic auto manufacturer. PAWS of NY volunteers in attendance included Jessica Marabella and her Boston Terrier Aberdeen, Martina St. Leger and her Labrador Mix Dory, Kathy Reynolds and her Labradoodle Sadie, and Linda Wood and Jocelyn and their Golden Retriever Casey.
It was a beautiful day and many VW and dog lovers alike stropped by throughout the day to interact with the certified therapy dogs and learn more about PAWS of CNY and the pet therapy services the organization provides in Oswego. People asked the volunteers questions and were very impressed with how well-behaved the dogs were. Everyone enjoyed the event – especially the dogs!
