PAWS of CNY volunteers were thrilled to have the opportunity to attended a student de-stress event at Onondaga Community College (OCC). The purpose of the event was to encourage students to take a break from finals and participate in several wellness activities, including interacting with PAWS of CNY’s certified therapy dogs.
The PAWS of CNY volunteers who attended the event included Susan Stepien and her Bernese Mountain Dog Stella, Kevin Campbell and his Leonberger Chase, and Etsuko Campbell and her King Charles Cavalier Spaniel Allie.
About 25 students attended and they had a great time. The students loved petting the dogs and the dogs loved the attention.
