As part of its recent commitment to expand its pet assisted wellness service offerings in Oswego County, PAWS of CNY participated in the Paws and Effect Open House in Oswego on April 24th.
PAWS of CNY volunteers in attendance included Sue Vaughn, Pam Witte, Amy Dumas, Martha Sturtz, Holly Besaw, and Tom O’Connell. The volunteers were at the Open House throughout the day, answering questions about PAWS of CNY’s pet therapy programs. Volunteers also shared information about PAWS of CNY’s upcoming therapy dog evaluations at Paws and Effect on September 8 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
If you believe that your dog may be a candidate for pet therapy certification, and would like to volunteer with PAWS of CNY’s pet therapy programs in the Oswego area, complete a volunteer application today.
