On Saturday October 4, volunteer teams from PAWS of CNY attended the Molly’s Wish Awareness Walk event at Driver’s Village in Cicero. The event aimed to raise funds, and awareness for the atrocities of Puppy Mills.
PAWS of CNY volunteer Susan Stepien attended the event with her burnese mountain dog, Stella.
“Everyone that came to the table to talk to us was met with enthusiasm and friendliness [by Stella],” said Stepien. “Everyone seemed to love her.”
Molly’s Wish, established in Central New York, aims to educate the public, provide a safe haven for animals rescued, and advocate to change laws and legislation.
“I think it is very important for organizations like [PAWS of CNY] to show support for puppy mills,” said Stepien. “We are all in this together and every dog deserves the chance for a normal life with a great family.
