PAWS of CNY was proud to support the SPCA of Central New York’s Halloween-themed adoption event on Saturday October 25. This year’s Hawling Harvest Jamboree took place at the Hearth at Green Point, a facility that PAWS of CNY has been proud to support with pet assisted wellness services for the past several years. A smiling group of PAWS of CNY volunteers attended this year’s Hawling Harvest event to show support for the SPCA and to share information with prospective new pet owners about the benefits of pet therapy work.
Many of PAWS of CNY’s own therapy dog volunteers have been adopted from the SPCA, non-kill shelters, or other rescue organizations. PAWS of CNY believes that any dog can make a great therapy dog, and welcomes all breeds, sizes, and ages. To learn more about the criteria for our pet volunteers, visit our how to volunteer page.
Thank you to the CNY SPCA for allowing PAWS of CNY to be a part of this year’s Hawling Harvest event.
