On November 22nd a group of SFI volunteers attended the “Take a Break” for Wellness event at Elmcrest Children’s Center. SFI has been proud to partner with Elmcrest’s children’s reading program for several years, so when the staff at Elmcrest wanted to host a wellness event for their own employees, they turned to SFI to help their staff de-stress!
The Sunshine Friends volunteers who attended the event were pleased to have the opportunity to allow the Elmcrest staff to spend more quality time with their dogs, and the dogs who attended enjoyed the afternoon (and the attention) just as much!
